1. Xavier– Xavier and Andy
Sometimes you just have to trust someone else knows what’s best for you.
Xavier’s life has gone to hell. Not only has his ex-boyfriend’s stalker attacked him, but in order to keep him safe he’s being sent to the Gillham pack. It wouldn’t be too bad, if not for the small detail that he hadn’t known shifters existed before that! He’s not sure what he can expect from them, but he doesn’t have a choice. When he meets Andy, he’s weirdly attracted to the man, but Xavier knows he’s not good enough for him.
Andy doesn’t want to play babysitter for Xavier, at least not until he meets him and realizes the man is his mate. He knows he’s going to have a hard time convincing Xavier to at least give their bond a chance, and that’s not counting the other problems their relationship will have to face.
The two mates will have to navigate angry families and the ever-present lab problem, and still Andy isn’t sure he’ll be able to help his mate get over his low self-esteem long enough to give Andy a chance.
2. Zach– Zach and Kameron
What can you do when you realize you made the wrong decision?
Zach has stayed away from his mate for years because he had to, but only in the last few months against his will. He had to help his sister, but he knows he hasn’t done it the right way. Still, he has no way to get away from Stan, his sister’s mate, or at least that’s what he thinks.
Kameron, just like almost every other member of the pack, has known something was wrong with Zach for months, but as the Alpha, he didn’t have the possibility to do much about it while he had other and more pressing emergencies on his hands. Now that everything seems to be fine finally or as close to it as it can be, he finally looks for Zach, and what he finds nearly crushes him.
Even after Kameron rescues Zach and his sister from months of abuse, old and new problems rise on the horizon, problems that will put a on strain their budding relationship. Will it be strong enough to resist even Kameron’s bad faith, or will the newly formed couple crumble under the pressure?
3. Craig– Craig and Thomas
Sometimes you have to let go of a comfortable life to really start living.
Craig has rescued his last shifters from the Glass Research Company. He knew he wouldn’t be able to do it for long, but now he’s at a loss about what to do with his life. Then Kameron offers him a job, but can he really live with a pack of shifters?
Thomas had a comfortable life, at least until Kameron ruined it for him. Still, that doesn’t mean it has to change, and Thomas is ready to do his best to keep everything as it is. When he meets his mate, he knows he won’t be able to do so for much longer, and he has to make a decision that could turn his life upside-down.
Can Thomas get over the situation his old alpha created so many years ago and find a way to be happy with Craig? And will Craig be able to see past the shell Thomas has built around himself and give the man a chance?
4. Noah– Duncan and Noah
Can you really live a life decided by others?
Noah has lived in isolation most of his life. He’s a demon, and demons keep to themselves. He’s not satisfied with his life, though. One night he sneaks out and meets Duncan. He likes the man, but he knows he can’t be with him because it would mean losing everything.
Duncan knows what he wants, and he wants Noah. He doesn’t care—much—about his homophobic parents’ reaction. He knows he has the support of his friends and most of the pack, and that’s enough for him. Will it be enough for Noah, though?
As Noah and Duncan get to know each other, Noah has to make a decision—his parents, or his mate? Choosing his parents means he’ll have to marry a woman and have children, even if he’s gay. Choosing Duncan means he’ll lose everything he’s ever known. Or not?
5. Rick– Rick and Cole
How can you trust anyone when you’ve been abused all your life?
Rick has spent all his life under Alpha Erskine’s thumb. He was forced to become part of the man’s inner circle when his father had died and to participate in things that still give him nightmares. He’s used to being shunned, beaten, and derided for his stutter, and he doesn’t think things really can change, not even with Kameron as their new alpha.
Cole is part of the council, but he’s really a wandering soul. He hasn’t stopped in one place in years, but meeting his mate while visiting the Gillham pack changes that. He knows Rick hasn’t had an easy life, and he intends to make his mate happy, no matter what it takes.
Rick struggles with his stutter and his past but slowly starts healing from the years of abuse. Cole is an important part of that healing, but what will happen when someone tries to take him away? Will Rick be strong enough to protect his mate, or will he lose him to greed?
6. Arlen– Arlen, Nick, and Gentry
Sometimes you have to walk off the beaten path and create your own to be happy.
Arlen’s been stuck in his wolf form for months and he’s had to watch his mate fall in love with another man and live with him. To his surprise, Arlen falls in love with both men, so when he becomes human again, he knows exactly what he wants—both Gentry and Nick.
Gentry helps Arlen to become human again, but when Nick finds out Arlen is his mate, Gentry thinks he’ll have to leave the man he loves. Then Arlen proposes a threesome solution, but Gentry is hesitant.
Nick accepts Arlen’s solution more easily, even if he isn’t sure his wolf will be happy with it. But the wolf wants both Gentry and Arlen, and after a bit of stumbling, the three settle in their new throuple.
Will Nick and Arlen be able to resist the urge to mate and really include Gentry, or will Gentry end up alone and rejected? And how will their families and friends react to their solution?
7. Demi– Demi and Reed
Sometimes something good can come out of a bad situation, if only you have the strength to take a chance.
Demi flees Starhaven, the demon town, when his ex won’t take no for an answer. Noah takes him in and Demi meets Reed. He knows from the first moment that he’s Reed’s mate, but Reed has been through a lot, and neither of them knows whether Reed can trust Demi enough to open up to him or if he’ll run away instead.
Reed has been having nightmares and other problems ever since the lab. He’s been working on it with Gentry, but the road to recovery is still long. Still, he’s happy when he finds his mate, and even happier when Demi turns out to be an affectionate and sweet man who does everything he can to help Reed.
The couple slowly works toward a future together, but what will happen when Demi’s past finds him? Will Reed break under the pressure, or will he be able to trust his mate enough to work his way out of his own dark thoughts?
8. Elias– Elias and Blake
Life certainly likes to throw curve balls, but they can lead to unexpected pleasures.
Elias has a nice life now that Kameron is alpha. He’s in his senior year, his father is happily mated with a man, and Elias can finally be himself without fearing someone might hurt him. What could go wrong?
Blake fled Gillham six years earlier, when he realized his best friend’s son, Elias, was his mate. Elias was only twelve at the time, and their alpha was homophobic. But now Blake is an enforcer, and the council sends him back to Gillham, where he knows he’ll have to face both his best friend, Thomas, and Elias.
Elias realizes Blake is his mate as soon as they meet again. He’s happy about it, even though his father certainly isn’t. Blake and Elias decide to wait until Elias graduates to mate, but between creatures that lurk in the dark and new questionable friends, will they make it to June in one piece?
9. Jago– Jago and Corbin
Is love enough to overcome a lifetime of orders and coldness?
Jago has known Corbin is his mate for a while now, but he gave him all the time and space he needed in the hope Corbin would decide he wants Jago. He knows it’s not going to be easy because of Corbin’s past and what he was raised to be, but he has hope. Then the creature that haunts the woods around pack territory kidnaps Jago, and Corbin comes to his rescue. It doesn’t mean all is flowers and rainbows between them, though.
Corbin doesn’t know what to do with Jago. He’s been raised to be cool, emotionless, and Jago is threatening that. Corbin doesn’t know how to be different, but the lure of having a mate and all it entails is calling out to him, and Corbin wants to cave in. The only thing stopping him is himself, but when he hears Zach and Jago talk about what Jago’s father has done to him, he finally caves in. Jago needs him, and Corbin can’t resist the mating instinct that grows in him.
Jago and Corbin mate and everything is right in their world—for a little while. Corbin is still trying to navigate his new relationship and to become more human when a menace both new and old rises on the horizon, putting him and everything he now holds dear in danger and changing their lives forever.
10. Merle– Merle and Nootaw
Monsters aren’t always the obvious ones.
Merle isn’t the wolf he was before, and who could blame him? He was sold to the labs, then Tom, Alpha Erskine’s second, kidnapped and tortured him, leaving him for dead. Merle’s body has been healed, but his mind hasn’t, and he’s struggling with everyday life and nightmares. Add to that an overbearing mother, and his life is a mess.
Nootaw left his wendigo tribe a year before, but even though he hasn’t hurt anyone since then, people still regard him with fear and disgust. Not even moving to Gillham changed that, but he’s use to it by now. When Nootaw is asked to help find Merle, he doesn’t expect Merle to take a sniff at him and tell him they’re mates. Nootaw isn’t sure what to do with Merle, because everyone knows wendigoes don’t have mates.
Merle insists on giving Nootaw a chance, even though he might lose his mother over it. Then Nootaw disappears, reappearing with someone Merle hadn’t expected. Will Merle be able to leave his nightmares behind and be the man Nootaw needs him to be? And will Nootaw manage to get used to a life he’d never thought he could have?
11. Elliott– Elliott and Mihaja
You can’t rush healing, no matter how much you want to.
Elliott has been through hell—not only was he sold to the Glass Research Company, but the Company then sold him to a man who wanted a sex slave. Elliott was freed, but now, more than a year later, he’s still fighting with the memories. He spends most of his time hiding in his parents’ house and texting the few friends he has, until he decides his life needs to change. The first step? Moving in with Mal, one of his best friends.
Craig freed Mihaja from the lab. Mihaja went back home to Madagascar, but being there isn’t for him anymore. What he went through changed him, and he goes back to the only home away from home he knows—Gillham. There he meets his mate, Elliott, who tells Mihaja what happened to him even before they realize what they are to each other.
Mihaja knows Elliott will need time and care to heal, and he doesn’t mind being the one giving it to him. He, Elliott, and Mal move in the house Mihaja was supposed to move into alone, and Elliott starts to heal, but he is his own enemy. Elliott wants too much too fast. What will happen when he pushes too hard?
12. Mal– Mal and Will
Mal isn’t the only human in the Gillham Pack, but he is the only unmated one. He knows most members view him as an outsider for that, but he has his friends, and it’s enough for him. That’s what he tries to convince himself of anyway.
Will still isn’t over Heath, even though his ex-boyfriend mated with Jayden nine months ago. It’s not only the fact that Heath mated that hurts him. Heath lost his memory, and he doesn’t remember Will and the years they had together. Will knows it’s not Heath’s fault, but he still keeps his distance, even if that means staying away from the only family he has.
Will and Mal crash into each other and Will immediately realizes what Mal is to him. The distance between their homes put a strain on their budding relationship, as does the reappearance of Mal’s abusive ex-boyfriend, and the ever-present danger of the new council trying to get rid of the pack. Will they be able to find solutions to their problems or will one of them finally tear them apart?
13. Simon– Simon and Malik
What you’ve been waiting for usually happens when you stop hoping.
Simon has been watching all his friends find their mates and fall in love, but he’s still waiting for his. He knows he’s young and that he has time, but time doesn’t keep him warm at night and doesn’t make him feel loved. He yearns to have that, especially after growing up with his parents and his brother.
Malik is both the alpha of his school and a council member. When Kameron asks him and his best friend, Quincy, to help deal with Tom, the man who’s dead set on eliminating him, the last thing Malik expects is to meet his mate. He knows they’ll have to talk and to make decisions, but Simon makes what he wants very clear, and Malik doesn’t even think of saying no.
Simon and Malik don’t waste time and mate right away. However, Tom is still threatening, and Malik, along with Kameron and Quincy, need to find a solution, or they could lose everything.
14. Kir– Kir and Quinn
Letting people in is never easy, but sometimes you have to in order to be happy.
Kir is one of the exotic shifters rescued by Craig. He never went home, choosing to stay with the Gillham pack, but he never really integrated himself into the pack. He wanted to make sure the pack wouldn’t betray him like his skulk had. He took his time to observe, and he finally decided it was time to make friends.
Quinn knows he’s a prickly bastard. He’s had to hide behind that façade for most of his life, and now he can’t step out from behind it, not that he wants to. It feels safer to keep most people at arm’s length. He didn’t expect to find his mate when Kameron called him and Malik to help with the rival council, though, and he knows Kir is probably the only one who can wiggle his way into his heart if he lets his guard down.
Kir does his best to get under Quinn’s shell, but when the man punches him and tells him to stay away, he gets the message, even though he still hopes he’ll be able to change Quinn’s mind. He knows he has a great opportunity when Kameron assigns him as a bodyguard for Quinn, but will he be able to protect Quinn and make him fall in love with him? Will Quinn finally let someone in, or will he stay safely ensconced in his hard shell?
15. Iggy– Iggy and Zane
Love can bloom at the worst of times.
Iggy fled his nest of bat shifters, leaving his family behind to tell the Gillham pack alpha the pack is in danger. He has a hard time believing Kameron can trust him enough to make him his bodyguard, but he accepted the job, hoping to show his new alpha that he can be useful.
Zane has been a recruit since he was a teenager. His goal was to become a pack enforcer, but Kameron decides to put him in charge of Malik’s protection instead, giving him the opportunity of a lifetime.
Neither of them expected to meet their mate when they accepted the job, and it couldn’t have come in a worst moment. The rival council wants the Gillham pack erased, and Tom isn’t going to back off. Will the fight ahead of Iggy and Zane separate them? Will they both come out of it alive, or will they lose each other?
16. Dallas– Dallas and Hamilton
Not all things that look too good to be true are wrong.
Dallas is back in Gillham. He left the town and the pack after he was rescued from the lab, but he hasn’t been able to go back to fully living his life, and he hopes changing will help. He’s eager to work for Kameron and to be the pack’s doctor, even with the new problems the pack has.
Hamilton is Morin Glass’ best friend, and he wants answers. He’s seen the news about the man who became an animal, and he knows Morin and his boyfriend have to somehow be involved. He travels to Whitedell to get an explanation, and once there, he finds more than he was expecting.
Hamilton doesn’t seem to have problems accepting shifters, and Dallas is glad even if hesitant, but it doesn’t mean their life is easy. Hamilton’s life is in New York and he has to make a decision. Being with a shifter could be dangerous for him. Humans might know about them now, but it doesn’t mean they accept them. What does the future hold for Dallas and Hamilton, and for the pack?
17. Clea– Clea and Christian
Life is all about surprises.
Clea found his mate during the battle against Tom and his council, but things haven’t been easy. Christian and his family moved in with the pack, but Christian has been avoiding Clea, and no matter how much Clea wants to think his mate needs time, he’s starting to think Christian just doesn’t want him.
Christian never meant to push Clea away, but he needed time to wrap his mind around what happened. He found out his brother wasn’t dead, that the pack didn’t want to hurt anyone, and most importantly, that his mate is a man, something Christian hadn’t expected.
When Christian realizes he’s pushing Clea away, he makes amends. Clea accepts it, but they both have to deal with their families, and with the knowledge that shifters have been exposed to the world. No one knows what it means for them yet, but things are changing. Will the pack be able to stay united, or will things start to crumble apart?
18. Nuallan– Nuallan and Ethan
Sometimes there’s a lot more to a situation than we see at first sight.
Nuallan has been hiding in his cell ever since he got out of the infirmary after trying to kill himself. He hasn’t told anyone why he’d rather be there than free to move around pack territory, and Alex, his best friend, still hasn’t stopped trying to save him from himself.
Ethan is in the town hall when Kameron Rhett explains to the Gillham people what he and his friends are—shifters. Ethan doesn’t stay to hear the end of Kameron’s speech. He’s distracted by a pretty man, and when the man leaves after his best friend threatens Ethan, Ethan follows.
Ethan didn’t know about shifters until Kameron’s speech, but he’s thrust into their world when he finds out his pretty man, Nuallan, is a Nix, and Ethan is his mate. Will it be too much to accept? Will Nuallan finally reveal why he tried to kill Kameron? Or will the secrets push Ethan and Nuallan apart?
19. Calvin– Calvin and Alex
Sometimes you have to let the fear go to welcome happiness.
Calvin was assaulted when he arrived in Gillham two months ago, after living on the streets for two years, but it wasn’t enough to dissuade him to leave the town and his new life. He never expected to be assaulted again, though, especially not by the same man.
Alex has been envious ever since both his brothers found their mates, but at only twenty-one, he never expected to find his own. He especially didn’t expect the man he rescues from a beating to be it.
Calvin and Alex have to learn to navigate their new relationship. Calvin is shy and hesitant, and Alex does his best to give him enough time to get used to his presence. They move in together—as housemates—but their fragile relationship is threatened by the appearance of a teenage brother Calvin didn’t know he had. What will this mean for Calvin and Alex’s relationship? Will Calvin finally believe Alex is in it for life, or will he let his insecurity win?
20. Sei– Sei and Donovan
Rushing into things isn’t always wrong, no matter what everyone says.
Sei has had enough of dodging his mother’s and his aunt’s attempt to arrange a bonding for him since Clea mated with Christian. They don’t see a reason for him not to bond with someone they choose, but he doesn’t care about traditions. He wants the real deal when it comes to mating—love, lust, and a happily ever after.
Donovan is the liaison between the pack and the government. His job isn’t running around Washington rescuing street kids, but he wants to help the pack, and those kids. The last thing he expected from his impromptu mission was to meet his mate.
When Sei is overwhelmed by a crowd of reporters who have come to Gillham to find out more about shifters, he’s rescued by a bear shifter. He recognizes Donovan as his mate only once Donovan shifts, and he doesn’t let the occasion slip away. They mate within hours of their first meeting, but Sei hadn’t considered the complications that would come with it.
The attacks on the pack are escalading, Donovan’s son is vehement about his dislike of Sei, and Donovan doesn’t know what to do. Will he have to choose between his mate and his son? What can he do to keep the pack safe? Will this be the time when everything falls apart?
21. Geoffrey– Geoffrey and William
Sometimes you have to accept what life gives you without questions.
Geoffrey’s life is normal—or it would be, if most of his friends weren’t members of the Gillham pack. He loves the pack, though, and when he finds an injured woman and three babies, he agrees right away to take care of the oldest one, Mingan. It’s the least he can do, and maybe it’ll help him get closer to William, his mate.
William thought he’d never trust another man, not after what his best friend and lover did to him seven years before. He tries to resist the bond that pulls him close to Geoffrey, but Geoffrey is stubborn, and he doesn’t take no for an answer.
William has no doubt Geoffrey will eventually wriggle his way into his life, but will he be able to get past the wall William built between himself and the rest of the world? What will Mingan’s presence mean for them and for their future? And what will happen when Mingan’s father tries to get him back?
22. Neriah– Neriah and Connor
Sometimes you realize what you have only when you’re on the brink of losing it.
Neriah arrived in Gillham after spending two months as his tribe leader’s fake hostage. Now he works part-time in a flower shop, plays big brother to the street kids flocking to Gillham, and thinks of ways to stop his tribe leader from ruining his life. He thinks his life can’t get any more exciting—until he meets his mate.
Connor is human, and the only reason he’s in Gillham is to write about the pack for the Daily Beacon. He’s lucky enough to get an exclusive interview with Alpha Rhett, but things get weird when a small blond man with pointed ears tells him they’re mates right in the middle of the interview.
Connor is wary of the mate bond and insists he doesn’t believe in soul mates. Neriah is focused on changing Connor’s mind at all cost—and that includes by dating him. But Gillham isn’t the sleepy little town it used to be anymore, and the humans set against the pack are starting to create problems again. Connor risks losing Neriah forever when he’s kidnapped, and that makes him realize how much he cares for his mate.
Will that realization come too late?
23. Rabbit– Rabbit, Samuel, and Elton
When life throws you a curve ball, you have to deal with it as well as you can.
When Rabbit arrived in Gillham, he was only trying to get away from his ex-boyfriend. He never expected to find a pack, a family, but he feels at home in Gillham. Finding his mate makes that feeling even stronger, at least until he realizes Elton isn’t only his mate, but also Samuel’s.
Elton’s in Gillham to visit his brother when he ends up in the middle of a spat for him. He might not know a lot about shifters and mates, but he does know that one human guy having two shifter mates isn’t normal.
Samuel is ready to fight for Elton, and really, it shouldn’t take much with how tiny Rabbit is. But Rabbit reveals himself to be stronger and more stubborn than Samuel had thought, and when Elton gives them an ultimatum, they have to learn to work together—or be without their mate.
They know a three-way mating is possible, but it doesn’t make it easy. Rabbit, Elton, and Samuel all have their own insecurities and problems. Will they manage to work around them and be happy together, or will the stress of having to share a mate make their relationship implode?
24. Shawn– Shawn and Jarah
Life’s curve balls aren’t always a bad thing.
Shawn has been alone since his wife passed away. He has his three kids, and he loves them more than anything, but he misses having a partner to share his life with. He’s not looking for one, though, not while the kids still live with him. That’s one of the reasons he’s so surprised when he ends up being a Nix’s mate.
Jarah hadn’t expected to meet his mate when he went to talk to Neriah. He has more than enough problems to deal with—Titus still acting crazy, the fight between the rogue shifters and the humans in town getting worse. And now he has to learn how to be a stepfather, even though Terry, Shawn’s oldest child, hates his guts.
Shawn and Jarah learn to mesh their lives together, but when Shawn and his children are threatened for associating with shifters, Jarah decides to take matters into his own hands. Will he manage to keep his mate safe, or will he lose him before he can even get used to having a family?

Corbin would do anything for his mate, so he doesn’t hesitate to say yes when Jago tells him about the vacation on the beach. He could do without all the other people there, especially the weird pink-haired guy, Nysys. Corbin can tell Nysys is trouble with a capital T from the first time he sees him.
And he’s not wrong. What do you get when you put together sun, sand, and a drunken watermelon? Trouble.
25. Kanan– Kanan and Titus
Sometimes you have to hit rock-bottom to rise again.
Since he was rescued from the lab he’d been locked into, Kanan hasn’t been living—he’s been surviving. He can’t trust anyone, not completely, and it’s easier to hide away in his room, away from life.
Titus lost everything—his father, his tribe, his best friend. He knows Jarah and Neriah did the right thing, taking the tribe away from him, but it doesn’t make accepting that easier. Yet when Jarah asks him for help, he decides he’ll do what he has to do to keep his best friend and the pack where some of his old tribe members live safe, even if that includes killing the Los Angeles pack’s alpha.
Kanan never expected to meet his mate, not when he spends so much of his time in his room. But when he meets Titus in the woods, he knows he can’t hide away from their bond—and he doesn’t want to. Will he manage to get through the anger Titus has shrouded himself in? And will Titus find a way to break the thick walls Kanan built around his heart?
26- Family (short)
Sometimes your friends know you better than you know yourself.
