🐺

Fate takes twists and turns, sometimes for the worse, sometimes for the best.

Doyle is in trouble. It’s nothing new, but this time, it’s bad because he freaking kidnapped a guy, and now the guy’s friends are here to save him.

Marcus is new to pack security, so he didn’t know what to expect from the rescue mission, but it certainly wasn’t to find out that one of the guys who kidnapped his best friend’s mate is his mate. He doesn’t know how to feel about it or what to do, so he keeps it to himself even though he’s tasked to guard Doyle once they’re back in pack territory.

Doyle had his reasons for helping to kidnap Everly, and he didn’t know everything that was going on, but he still feels guilty. He expects to be put behind bars, but instead, when he’s taken to the Rosewood pack, he’s assigned to a home. He can’t leave, and Marcus is there to guard him, but it’s much better than anything he could have dreamed of. He doesn’t understand why the pack is treating him so well or why they’re giving him this chance, but he won’t waste it.

After a while, Marcus realizes he likes the Doyle he’s getting to know, and it makes it much harder to hide that Doyle is his mate. What will happen when he tells people, especially Everly? Even more importantly, will Doyle be a prisoner for much longer, and if he’s not, will he stay with the pack, or will Marcus lose him?

Doyle is human, but maybe he can find a place with the pack anyway—that is, if he can forgive himself the way the pack has.

#NewRelease @eXtasyBooks Unlikely Savior #mmromance #ParanormalRomance #LGBT

Unlikely Savior is out today on the eXtasy Books website! This one was fun to write, and I’d been waiting to get to Loki’s story! Researching him and Norse mythology in general was interesting, and I can’t wait to get to the next book already 😅

If you want to read Unlikely Savior today, you can grab it here. Release date for other online retailers will be Friday 17.

Saving someone doesn’t always involve physical strength.

Sam doesn’t like gods. They’re arrogant and look at humans as if they’re beneath them, and maybe they are, but Sam has no problem letting them know what he thinks of them. He tries to stay away from them as much as possible, but it’s not always easy, since he works as a bartender at a trendy club.

Loki is used to people throwing themselves at him, be they humans or gods. Right now, he has too much on his mind to bother with any of them, what with his family members killing each other. Gods have always brought trouble, and his nephew Baldur’s death isn’t any different.

When Loki meets Sam, he can’t stay away, and no matter how much Sam tries to resist, he finds himself falling for the god, something he’d promised himself he’d never do. Things between them are going well, but the same can’t be said for the world around them, especially Loki’s family. Will they be enough to make Sam give up and push Loki away? Or will he be able to hold onto that love and maybe be the unlikely savior Loki needs?
