This week’s #MySexySaturday ‘s theme is Their Sexy Talk and it’s all about how lovers talk to each other. This excerpt is from Zach, book 2 in the Gillham Pack Series. It’s not exactly a romantic or sexy talk, but not all talks are romantic or sexy after all 🙂
“I can rest even if I’m not sleeping, and this way I’ll be able to sleep tonight.”
They settled in a slightly uncomfortable silence. They both knew they needed to talk. Zach had to explain what had been going on, what had happened to make him go to Stan without even trying to talk to Kameron, but Kameron didn’t want to push him.
He had been angry at Zach only hours ago, angry that Zach hadn’t trusted him, that he hadn’t talked to him, but now that his man was in his arms, Kameron was scared to say anything that would make him bolt, so he waited.
“I guess it’s time to talk, uh?” Zach said, his eyes now leaving Kameron’s face to look at the hand that leaned on Kameron’s chest.
“I don’t want to push you, but I need to know.”
“I’ll tell you, but I have a favor to ask first.”
Kameron raised a brow at his man—and yes, Zach was his man now. “I’m listening.”

This week’s #MySexySaturday ‘s theme is Our Sexy Tomorrow, and my thoughts went to Keenan right away. He met his mate in Oliver, but Jonah literally ran away. This is a peek in their future 🙂
“I…I’m sorry. I shouldn’t have called.”
“Oh god, Jonah. It’s you, it’s really you.” Jonah’s heart broke at the relief and the happiness he could hear in Keenan’s voice and it made him feel so much worse, because even if he was hurting Keenan, Keenan was still happy to talk to him.
“I’m…I’m just going to hang up. I’m sorry.”
“Don’t you dare! I’ve been scared to death for you for the past two months, damn it! The least you can do is talk to me! I know something has to be wrong for you to call me like this, because you wouldn’t in normal circumstances.”
“I had a dream. You were…in the lab.”
“You needed to hear my voice to know I’m fine.”
“Yes. I’m sorry I left you like this.” Now that he had heard Keenan’s voice, that he had started talking to him, it was as if Jonah couldn’t stop himself. “I didn’t want to, but I felt broken, and I knew that if I stopped to talk to you, I would be tempted to stay. I have to find them, Keenan. I have to put an end to this…thing that happened to me.”

#MySexySaturday week #83 Sexy Me Up
This week’s #MySexySaturday ‘s theme is Sexy Me Up, and it’s a pretty open theme, although it did give a few hints. My excerpt is from Xavier, which will be book 1 in a new series, the Gillham Pack Series.
“I…I didn’t mean that you’re stupid, or vain, well, I think the exact opposite is true, really. You’re so gorgeous, and I’m sure you’re intelligent as hell, although I don’t know you well enough to be sure of that yet. Shit, I meant, I know you’re smart, because I’m sure Kameron wouldn’t have chosen you to take care of me if you weren’t, you know…” Xavier took a deep breath and peeked sideways. Andy did seem a little less tense, but he still looked angry. “What I meant was, I’m normal. I’m a boring, plain looking man, probably not that smart, while you’re so much better. You could have anyone you want, so why should you settle with me?”
He peeked again, and this time his eyes locked on forest-green eyes so deep he could probably get lost in them. “You really mean that, don’t you? That you’re nothing special?”
Xavier nodded. The man should have seen it with his own eyes. “Jeremy told me a bit about how mating works, and I know you could want me only because of the mate bond, or pull, or whatever. It’s forcing you into wanting me even if you wouldn’t normally.”
The car suddenly veered and Xavier’s hand shot to the door’s handle. He looked at Andy, trying to see if there was something wrong, but all he could see was that the man was moving the car to the side of the road and stopping it before unbuckling his seat belt and turn toward him. “You think you know me that well, Xavier?”
“Well, I-I don’t, bu-but—”
“You don’t know anything about me, or even about shifters, so you shouldn’t presume anything about the bond between mates or what I want.” Andy sighed and reached for Xavier’s cheek. “The mating pull isn’t something that forces you to want someone.” Andy’s tone was softer. “The bond is only a pull you feel toward someone, but you can ignore it if you want. I could walk away from you without too many problems, but I don’t want to. I don’t know who convinced you that you’re average, but you’re not.”
Xavier opened his mouth to protest, but Andy stopped him. Suddenly two hot, smooth lips crashed on his, sucking at his lower lip and pulling it into Andy’s mouth. Xavier was frozen. He knew he should push Andy away, but…he couldn’t. When he finally unfroze, it was to push his hands into Andy’s hair, to use his tongue to stroke Andy’s. Their lips moved against each other’s, their tongues danced and dueled, their teeth nipped, until they were both breathless and had to separate.
