#MySexySaturday week #65

#MySexySaturday ‘s  theme this week is Halloween. Unfortunately for me, I live in Italy, and while some people do celebrate it, it’s not really common. Buuut, as soon as I read what the theme would be, I just knew what it was going to be about!

See, I’m really lucky because for now writing is my main job. My son just started school, but he’s been more at home, sick, than at school, so I just stay home with him. Which means I have a lot of time to write. Which means that while only the first book of the series has been published, I already wrote more than ten!

And what can be better than wendigos for an Halloween theme? We first meet the wendigos in Keenan, book number ten in the series, but it won’t be the only book to feature them.

The two men pushed him to his knees, and when Keenan looked up, he wished he hadn’t. He tried to move backward when he saw the creature standing close to the fire, but his guards were having none of it. They pushed him back into place and each kept a hand on his shoulders so that he couldn’t shy away from the thing that was approaching him.

Keenan was shuddering in a mix of cold and fear, but the fear was winning as he took in the sight in front of him.

The creature, whatever it was, was tall, easily ten feet tall, if not something more. It literally looked like a standing and moving corpse, and Keenan wouldn’t have been surprised if it were exactly that.

Keenan could see every single one of its ribs under the taunt, ash gray skin that was stretched on the creature’s bones. Its eyes were glowing red as it talked with the leader of the group that had taken Keenan and fangs protruded from lips so thin they were nearly absent. A thick coat of fur covered the back of the creature’s body, its legs and its arms, and what looked like long, dirty, white hair cascaded down his back. Its hands were deformed, the fingers way too long to be human’s fingers, and they were tipped by dark claws.

Then there was the smell. Gosh, the smell. The whole clearing stank as if there was a pile of decomposing corpses somewhere close, and it made Keenan want to throw up.

Keenan cringed when the thing turned to look at him. A long tongue came out of its mouth as it licked the place in which its lips should have been, making it clear what he intended to do with Keenan. Shit, he was going to end up in the creature’s stew!

“Put him away,” the thing growled to the man who had kidnapped Keenan, and Hassun and Elte grabbed him again, dragging him away. Keenan was somehow relieved to be able to stop looking at the creature, but it didn’t last long. As they walked through the camp, he saw several other creatures, and all of them were looking at him as if they were starving, which they probably were if their skinny bodies were indication of how much they ate.

#MySexySaturday week #64

This week’s theme is a sexy thriller. Let me tell you, it wasn’t easy finding something that had to do with mystery or suspense, because that’s not what I write, but in the end I chose an excerpt from the second book in the Whitedell Pride Series, Derick. It’s coming out on November 1.

In the book Nate and Derick are thrown together by circumstances, and they’ll have to do the best they can with what Fate gave them.

“Since we don’t want the wolves to take you back, you will have to act like you actually want me,” Nate said, his eyes locked with Derick’s. Derick looked into the deep green pools and wanted to drown in them.

God, Derick hadn’t taken the time to really look at Nate yet, and he had been missing something. The guy was tall, definitely taller than Derick’s five foot nine, and he was gorgeous. His handsome face was sculpted, his jaw square and stubborn. With green eyes and blond hair streaked with darker colors, he was Derick’s dream coming true. His body was hard and muscled and Derick couldn’t wait to see him naked. That is if he decided to mate with the guy, of course.

“I can do that.”

“You sure? You don’t seem very happy.”

Derick sighed. He was too tired, too weary, to fight. “Look, I’m sorry my reaction didn’t please you, but give me a minute, okay? I ran away from my house, the only house I’ve ever known, in the middle of the night leaving everything behind, I passed the entire night running and scared that either my pack would find me or that you cats would kill me. I just need a little time to wrap my head around everything.”

Being honest must have been the right thing to do because Nate’s expression somehow softened a bit, making him look more approachable. He stepped toward Derick, bringing his hand up and caressing Derick’s lower lip with his thumb while his hand cupped Derick’s cheek.

“Fine. First we get through this, then we talk.”

Since Derick is coming out soon and the excerpt is from that book, I have a surprise for you 🙂 Cover reveal! Ready?

So, what do you think?

#MySexySaturday week #63

Photo of Milford Sound in New Zealand!

It’s Saturday again! This week’s theme is another sexy moment. I have plenty of those in the books I’ve already written, and I didn’t want to limit myself to the only book that’s already been published, so this week I chose and excerpt from Oliver, the sixth book in the Whitedell Pride Series. It should be out on March 1, so if you like the excerpt, you know when you’ll be able to read the whole book.

Oliver’s cheeks flushed and Sebastian sent the image to memory. It wasn’t something he had seen often, Oliver was too confident for that.
“I won’t break, Seb. I’m fine now, and I want you.” Oliver was still cradling Sebastian’s head in his hands, the gesture speaking of how much he cared for Sebastian.
Sebastian used his shifter speed to swing on the table and sit on the edge of it, his legs dangling down as he pulled Oliver to his chest. He fitted between Sebastian’s legs as if he had been made for him, and maybe it was exactly like that. Sebastian hooked his legs behind Oliver’s knees and pulled him even closer, Oliver’s arms ending up around his neck as Sebastian took his mate’s face in his hands.
He didn’t hesitate, not anymore. Sebastian took what Oliver freely offered, crushing their lips together and snaking his tongue into the moist heat of Oliver’s mouth. Their tongues tangled and stroked, their mouths sucked and nipped as their breaths became ragged.
Sebastian secured his fingers into Oliver’s hair as the man pressed closer still, and it reminded him that he was naked. He could feel Oliver’s jeans against his cock, the rough fabric strangely stimulating as their erections ground together.
Sebastian didn’t know how far Oliver wanted to go, and he didn’t want their first time to be on an operating table in the infirmary with hurt shifters right next door, but Oliver seemed to have his own ideas.
When their mouths separated, Oliver fell on his knees, startling Sebastian. “Babe, you don’t have to—”

So, what do you think happens next? Curious?
